LAKE LIVINGSTON ESTATES NO 3

The most beautiful sunsets in the World

The Certificate of Formation was signed and submitted to the State of Texas on June 8, 1977.  The deed for the property, that consisted of 250.5 lots, had been signed a few years before to the founding members of our association.  Since that beginning that saw a few neighbors working mostly weekends to clear and burn away foliage to make homesteads, we have grown to 100 homes.  Our boundaries consist of a state park and a lake so while we won’t grow anymore land-wise, we continue to establish new homes every day.

Members enjoy our quiet neighborhood with fishing, kayaking, boating, or just walking the 2.5 mi loop through our tree-lined roads.  We enjoy the company of our neighbors in our very own pavilion, built almost 50 years ago with recent remodels and upgrades.  Special events such as 4th of July parade and bbq, Christmas Cookie exchange, and musical events under the stars help bring us closer together to encourage the family atmosphere.

Our neighborhood favorite, however, remains the sunsets that reminds us all of the beauty of this little piece of heaven we live in.
